My journey into energy healing and feminine embodiment began through a series of unravelings.

For most of my life, I searched outside of myself for answers - for direction, for belonging, for the truth of who I was. I cycled through jobs, identities, relationships, constantly trying to land on something that made me feel like I was enough. But the more I searched outward, the further I drifted from myself. From my body. From my energy. From my emotions, my intuition, my voice, my inner knowing, and my psychic gifts.

I didn’t know how to trust what lived inside of me.

And in that disconnection, I found myself riddled with anxiety, weighed down by depression, stuck in patterns of disordered eating, insecurity, and deep unworthiness. I felt like a stranger in my own skin. Like no matter how much I tried to “fix” things on the surface, something was still missing.

Everything began to shift at the end of 2019, when I reached a breaking point… I knew that I couldn’t keep living out of alignment with myself. That choice was the beginning of a descent - into the void, into the ache, into all the parts of me I had tried to avoid. It was not graceful, but it was honest. And over time, I began to remember. I began to listen. I let my body speak. I honoured what I felt. And one of the most unexpected - and transformative - parts of that journey was becoming a burlesque dancer.

Expressing this art became a reclamation: each time I stepped onto the stage, I wasn’t just teasing away layers of clothing - I was shedding shame, conditioning, and the pressure to be palatable.

It wasn’t about being sexy. It was about being real. It was about allowing myself to be seen, to take up space, to trust my own aliveness. That’s what Unearthing Feminine was born from.
